Lieutenant Baby Doctor is asking me a series of questions.
LT BD: Will you be having a tubal ligation?
I stare blankly.
ME: I don't know what that is.
LT BD: Sterilization?
I think everything should be sterilized during delivery.
I don't answer. I continue to stare blankly.
LT BD: Are you getting your tubes tied?
Comprehension suddenly comes when medical procedures are explained in laymans terms.
Me: Oh! No. No. I don't want that.
I was really thinking she meant putting a sterile tube up my queen victoria. I wasn't sure why it was optional or what the purpose was.

Was she Chinese???? Why would anyone except a communist ask a first-time mother if she was having a tubal ligation? Would she ask that of Michelle Duggar? I bet she'd get an answer back from her!
BTW-I think it's funny that you didn't understand at first.
