my gross, pregnant journey.

My pains are biblical.  See, in Genesis God says "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children."
If you read between the lines he is also saying "I will make your stomach skin like that of a naked mole rat, to be stretched."
And if you read even further I'm pretty sure it's saying "I will greatly increase your desire for Chips Ahoy; with pain you will eat ten cookies and it will seem as if you are gestating a food baby."

I could be reading into it though.  You never know.

When you first give birth (with the exception of Beyonce and very skinny girls whom I hate) you look about six months pregnant... maybe more depending on water retention and general post pregnancy obesity.  Don't ever go out of the house without your newborn lest you desire to be asked when the baby is due.  (Last week.  He was due last week...)  I was comparing some of my pregnancy pictures to now.  I look more pregnant now than I did when I was 14 weeks pregnant.  However, I will not be totally discouraged because I am far less gross and far less pregnant looking than I was even two months ago.  Join me in my foray into grossness.

Pregnancy is a journey.  Sure you get really gross.  But for the first time in a long time I can see the light at the end of a very, very long tunnel.  It's going to take a LOT of crunches and probably a lot less cookies, but I'll get there.  I'll get there world!!
