What to Expect calls it "mild swelling of the face and hands."  I like to call it "pregnant fat face."  Pregnant fat face almost caused me to forego getting my picture taken while at home.  Pregnant fat face makes it difficult for me to want to get ready in the morning.  And worst of all pregnant fat face makes anyone who tells me I have just gained weight in my stomach a total liar.

Let me put a positive spin on this.  My best friend takes photos.  She is my best friend so she can tell me when I have a mega double chin.  Then we adjust accordingly.
